I frequently died during one of the end sections while going for the hearts. One such time for me was during the level "Inside". Because of the importance of staying alive, sometimes just not going for all the collectibles and playing it safe is the best way to go.Death will reset your multipliers/combos and thus greatly slow your score increase. No death is not required in some cases, but many levels will need you to be perfect in terms of deaths.You'll square off with them in some back and forth before the final level of the area will have you finally take them down. It then follows with you meeting the area's main villain. In general, each "area" of the game begins with a Heartbreak level.
